Hi Chrisl !
On my BR52-452 first axle also flight out from curved rails. ( Ooops! Derailed situation has been a very surprised for me
Maybe it's a Hanno Gelfert mistake, need to send a letter him) I'm must been transferred my loco onto BW/RAW and made a full modernization (tuning).
First of all I'm simple disassembled rauchkammer cover and put & glue additional metal ballast (I'm think that heavy cargo loks must been a really heavy!). This problem has been fully resolved ! Now my loco go normal without derailed not only on model rails but on old standard BTTB curved rails also.
Than I'm add digital CPU from LENZ - LE0521 (hard work to disassembled tender). In BR52 cabin I'm add interior - Stehkesselarmatur from Weinert #082009. Wooden armchairs and armatures really look great ! Slightly large (H0 component) but very-very suitable for TT. My lokfuhrer's crew now are completely satisfied
On back side of tender I'm was placed 1 small petroleum laterne with red LED (also from Weinert #02014). Onto cabin doors add 4 hand-rails (Stahldrahte+Griffstangenhalter). Near front lamps put 2 Rangierstangen like on real BR52. Completely change a coal in tender because Tillig plastic coal looks unreal. Of coarse, I'm has soiled tender and has polluted soot top of loco (weathered process). Some parts I'm also re-painted into other colors and add or changed other small details.
I'm also have a "Deutche Reisbahn Logo" decals from TL-Decals (#1964, old DRG logo - eagle with wings
) but I still think to put them or not.
After all modernisation my BR52 like a BR52 Reko loc. My 2'nd BR52 still untuning and will be modernized in future.
> Oder muß ich nur Rückwärts fahren ha ha.
Hmm?
It's interesting. I have not thought about of it. But how lokfuhrer can see a semaphores signs ?
He must permanent go to other side of cabin, look into window and then return to back.
Have a nice BR52 traction !
