Abriss der Firmengeschichte
Die Firma Harold Precision Products Inc. wurde 1945 [1] von Harald "Hal" Joyce ( † 06.03.1984) gegründet. Im Jahr 1947 [2] wurde sie zur H.P. Products Company. Sie ist bis zum heutigen Tag in Hartford City (Indiana) ansässig.Hal Joyce gilt als Erfinder der Nenngröße TT (Table Top). Der erste Katalog mit rollendem Material und Zubehör als Bausatz und oder Fertigmodell für TT wurde Ende 1948 herausgegeben.
Die Bausätze bestanden aus Holz, Kunststoff und Buntmetall. Ihnen waren keine Beschriftungen beigelegt. Diese konnten separat als Decal-Sätze (Artikelnummern 490, 491 und 492) erworben werden.
Mitte der 1960er Jahre wurde die Produktion von TT-Material eingestellt.
